The European Seaweed Association (ESWA) has joined NEN and CBCE. An important step within the Offshore Proof project, marking the start of the process to obtain Renewable Energy Test Lab (RETL) status under the international IECRE framework.
RETL recognition enables the OTS-NL test site to issue independent test reports for technology developers of offshore wave energy-, solar energy-, and marine technology, aligned with international certification pathways.
Over the coming weeks, ESWA will work towards a site resource assessment based on wave data, and a technology assessment for participating technology developers. Stay tuned for more updates!
